the Buyse brothers
Two brothers took the first step: a combination of ambition, teamwork and a shared passion laid out the foundations of the company.
Purchase of
the first CNC lathe
The purchase of our first CNC lathe marked a major step forward in precision and efficiency. Where cam-operated machines rely on mechanical settings, a CNC lathe offers flexibility, repeatability and far greater accuracy. This investment laid the foundations for our further automation and technological growth.

Achieving FIAT Qualitas and ISO 9001 certification confirmed our commitment to quality and reliability.
Second
generation
Coen and Philippe Buyse took over the reins and used their experience and expertise to further develop Buyse Decolletage. With a fresh vision and respect for the family heritage, they strengthened the organization and prepared the company for a sustainable future.
Introduction
of a third shift
By adding a night shift to our production, we were able to serve customers even faster and with greater flexibility. This expansion increased our capacity and shortened lead times, enabling us to respond even better to urgent and complex assignments.
Strategic acquisition
of Desart Industries
The Buyse family expanded its activities through the acquisition of Desart Industries in Lier (founded in 1983). Desart specializes in CNC turning and milling of larger diameters. This strategic step was a valuable addition to our production capabilities and strengthened our position as a reliable precision machining partner.
Investing in space
for innovation
The site in Aalter was expanded by 2,286 m² to make room for the latest technologies and an efficient production flow. This investment strengthened our capacity and prepared us for the future.
Relocation of
Desart Industries
In 2018, Desart Industries moved to a new, modern and more spacious building in another industrial zone in Lier. This step marked an important moment in our continued development and growth.
