At Buyse Metal Works Group, quality is a continuous process that begins even before the first machining step. Together with the customer, we define specifications, tolerances, and requirements at an early stage. This ensures that from the very beginning, we create a foundation for a reliable, reproducible, and perfectly finished component. Our quality process therefore consists of multiple steps.
Throughout the entire production process
During production, our operators continuously monitor process quality. Where processes are stable and under control, they are complemented by targeted sampling inspections. By combining process control with modern measuring equipment, we quickly detect deviations and immediately make adjustments. This allows us to guarantee consistent and reliable quality. At Buyse, quality is not just a final result,it is an integral part of every phase of the production process.
Advanced measuring equipment for reliable results
To further strengthen our quality control, we rely on specialized measuring equipment.
At both sites, Buyse Metal Works Group is equipped with a ZEISS CMM coordinate measuring machine. This allows us to perform accurate measurements close to production, ensuring precise verification of dimensions, shapes, and critical tolerances. Thanks to the ZEISS VAST XXT sensor, both point measurements and contour & freeform scanning are possible.
With our WENZEL 3D measuring machine, we inspect components in three dimensions down to the smallest detail. This user-friendly system enables fast and precise measurement of both standard and complex parts.
In addition, we use the ConturoMatic TS for highly accurate contour measurements. It can also be used for surface roughness measurements.
Digital support throughout logistics
Quality does not stop at the machine. Through advanced IT systems and extensive EDI platforms, we minimize errors in the logistics process. These digital systems support not only production, but also ensure accurate and reliable handling of orders, data, and deliveries.
ISO 9001:2015 as a foundation
Since 1996, Buyse Decolletage has been ISO 9001 certified. This certification has long been the foundation of our quality approach, embedding quality structurally into our processes, controls, and way of working. Today, the ISO 9001:2015 certification has also been extended to our Lier location(Desart Industries), ensuring consistent quality standards across both locations.
